The Gaga Showcase

Hello humans or whatever. OMG! Went to the Gaga showcase yesterday! Can't believe all that spamming of gmails :p paid off! We went to the showcase in a taxi cause we thought we were gonna be late. Anyway, the showcase was held at the Dome, some gigantic plastic tent at Clarke Quay. LOL. Someone even said it's a night club (LS) while I even said it's a ballroom! It's actually some Taj Mahal like structure. Anyways again, waited from 6.00 all the way to 7-8 plus (I guess) just to get inside the Dome. Then, had to wait for like another 1 hour before Gaga came on stage.


Here's what she performed : Love Game, Beautiful Dirty Rich, Paparazzi, Poker Face and finally finished off with Just Dance.



7.30 ~ 8.00, Finally went into the Dome! We thought we got scammed when we saw the place was full of SingTel AMPed promotion thingys.



8.00 plus, Managed to squeeze into the showcase area. Totally crammped and we were like a pack of Ayam™ brand Sardines. But ontop of all that, the view of the DiscoBall™ was simply charming so I had to take a shot of that. The DJ played some techno, trance kind of music.






8.45 ~ 9.00, Lady Gaga™ finally appeared with her marvellous DiscoStick™! I personally feel this outfit is the best among the three that she wore. She performed Love Game and Beautiful Dirty Rich while wearing it. Nice hairdo too. She totally worked the crowd.






"Bang bang bang!"




Following songs: Paparrazi and Poker Face. She wore this for the performance like in the Paparazzi MV. This time in Singapore Live, she performed Poker Face twice! First the acoustic version followed by the original version. And if you people did watch most of her live performances, you'd notice that most of the things are similiar. Like when she would do the following pose, the Wave-your-hand-around-your-Poker Face™ action, etc. It's awesome! She even spoke to the crowd, asking us "Am I sexy?" Her actual voice is also very nice.

Her final performance: Just Dance. She appeared wearing the Pop culture glasses like in the Poker Face video. Very stylish! It's sad also, cause it's her last song for this showcase!

Anyways, that's the end of the whole showcase. Went home afterwards from Clarke Quay, took Bus 963 back to Woodlands. I felt like I was hit by a car after getting off the bus at the interchange. Exposure to the bus environment and too much air-con made me feel like puking.

Felt like I was hit by a car after alighting the bus. Finally reached home at about 12.30am. Slept immediately like a log. Super uber tired...


p.s. Totally loved Gaga's performances! Hope I can get to see her live again!

Lady Gaga is like a goddess.
